A revista Times publicou o seu ranking de universidades em todo o mundo. Oxford e Cambridge aparecem no topo das universidades Europeias ainda que em 5º e 6º lugar no ranking mundial. Procurei em vão uma referência a Universidades Portuguesas. A única referencia encontrada foi o trecho que segue abaixo:"But perhaps the most striking feature of the European top 50 is theinvisibility of southern Europe. Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece are allabsent. They begin to appear only at positions 67 and 68, beyond thenumber we are able to publish here, when Madrid and Rome's La Sapienza universities respectively put in an appearance. This is ominous for these countries' prospects in the continent-wide knowledge economy of which European and national planners dream."
