AÇÃO URGENTE: LIBERTEM A FLOTILHA DA LIBERDADE!

 

12 pessoas civis, desarmadas, que navegavam e agiam ao abrigo do direito internacional marítimo e humanitário, com o objectivo de quebrar o cerco ilegal por parte de “I$rah3ll” e levar ajuda humanitária (leite em pó para bébé, fraldas, próteses, medicamentos...) à população sitiada de Gaza, foram sequestradas pelas forças do estado sionista, numa óbvia e, mais uma vez, impune violação do direito internacional por parte do mais terrorista dos estados.

We express our strongest outrage following the interception today by Israeli authorities of the Freedom Flotilla, a vessel carrying humanitarian aid intended for the civilian population of Gaza, which has been subjected to a total blockade since March 2, 2025.

On board the ship were 12 humanitarian workers and peaceful activists engaged in a strictly civilian and non-violent mission. Among them were French Member of European Parliament Rima Hassan and Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, both widely recognized for their commitment to human rights and international justice.

This interception, carried out outside Israeli territorial waters, constitutes a blatant violation of international law, including maritime and humanitarian law. The arrest of the crew members and the confiscation of aid intended for a population in immediate humanitarian distress is unacceptable.

We call upon states, the European Union, the United Nations, and the entire international community to:

- Strongly condemn this illegal detention;

- Demand the immediate and unconditional release of all crew members;

- Urge Israeli authorities to allow immediate and unimpeded entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza, in full compliance with international law.

It is the responsibility of all nations committed to human rights to speak out against these flagrant violations of international law by Israel.

Human solidarity is not a crime.

Free the Freedom Flotilla.

Manifestamos a nossa mais viva indignação após a interceção, hoje, pelas autoridades israelitas, da Flotilha da Liberdade, um navio que transportava ajuda humanitária destinada à população civil de Gaza, que está sujeita a um bloqueio total desde 2 de março de 2025.

A bordo do navio encontravam-se 12 trabalhadores humanitários e activistas pacíficos empenhados numa missão estritamente civil e não violenta. Entre eles, encontravam-se a deputada francesa do Parlamento Europeu, Rima Hassan, e a ativista climática sueca, Greta Thunberg, ambas amplamente reconhecidas pelo seu empenho na defesa dos direitos humanos e da justiça internacional.

Esta interceção, efectuada fora das águas territoriais israelitas, constitui uma violação flagrante do direito internacional, incluindo o direito marítimo e humanitário. A detenção dos membros da tripulação e a confiscação da ajuda destinada a uma população em perigo humanitário imediato é inaceitável.

Apelamos aos Estados, à União Europeia, às Nações Unidas e a toda a comunidade internacional para que
- Condenar firmemente esta detenção ilegal;
- Exigir a libertação imediata e incondicional de todos os membros da tripulação;
- Exortar as autoridades israelitas a permitir a entrada imediata e sem entraves da ajuda humanitária em Gaza, em plena conformidade com o direito internacional.

É da responsabilidade de todas as nações empenhadas na defesa dos direitos humanos pronunciarem-se contra estas violações flagrantes do direito internacional por parte de Israel.

A solidariedade humana não é um crime.
